Magnetic fixing

Magnetic mounting plates and pads are systems that magnetically attach to any ferrous surface: steel cladding, metal girders, truck bodies, etc.

The magnetic coating is made of anti-slip resin to reduce downward sliding caused by gravity: these plates are much more effective than simple magnets for fixing an object on a vertical surface.

You will also find in this category fastening systems with clamp to hang posters or tarpaulins on any vertical pole.

Screw your tarpaulins or panels directly on the magnetic plates

The mounting plates are equipped with a threaded rod and a bolt, to screw directly on the object you want to make magnetic. Our mounting plates contain between 1 and 2 screws of different sizes. Some are perforated on the edges. Other accessories, such as round studs, are drilled in the center of a tapped hole.

The magnetic fixation offers the advantage of being easily installed and removed without leaving traces, which is ideal for a temporary installation as part of an event communication.

The pole mounting kit, a display system that works on non-ferrous poles

In addition to the magnetic resin mounting plates, we offer a pole mounting kit on ferrous or not. Screw one or 2 magnetic pads on the panel to be displayed, install a steel plate around the pole using the Serflex.

You just have to magnet the magnetic pad on the steel plate to fix your billboard. 

What is the difference between magnetic rubber and resin magnet blocks?

Magnetic rubber is a soft material that contains ferrite particles. Resin blocks are rigid and contain magnets. They are more powerful and have a greater range of magnetization. They are also better suited for outdoor use.

Why a non-slip resin?

The magnetic part of the mounting plates is covered with a non-slip resin. It has porosities on its surface that increase the contact surface with the ferrous support. This contact also increases the friction forces.

The non-slip resin offers a better adhesion on vertical supports (wall for example)

The power of a magnet is measured in 2 ways

- or pulling force. This is the force required to pull the magnet out of its support. This force corresponds to the maximum weight that a magnetic plate can hold on the ceiling.

- or sliding force. The magnetization power is reduced in case of sliding.

The weight of the object held by the magnet creates a downward slide when the magnet is magnetized on a vertical support (such as a wall). The non-slip resin compensates for this weakness when a magnet is used vertically.

In the case of the magnetic pole mounting kit, we also use a magnetic pad covered with an anti-slip resin that offers good magnetization performance on a vertical support.
