Petanque ball magnet
Magnets can have all sorts of practical uses in everyday life. Petanque players have understood this for years, using magnets more and more to avoid bending down and protect their backs.
Here we present our version of the magnetic pétanque ball lifter, tested and approved by our doublettes.
Choosing a small but strong neodymium magnet
The petanque ball magnet we chose is very light. It measures just 25mm in diameter, but has a pulling force of 22kg (approximately 2.2kg sliding force).
This is enough force to lift any pétanque ball without difficulty.
Extensive in-house testing
At magnetiques.fr, we have hundreds of references of neodymium magnets in stock.
We were spoilt for choice for our petanque ball magnet.
To choose the most suitable magnet, our best doublettes carried out a long and demanding life-size test phase, before selecting these magnets with a 25mm diameter eyelet.
Carabiner and storage box
We wanted to offer a product that was both practical to use and easy to store. You can use the snap hook to attach the ball catcher to a belt loop to make sure you don't lose it.
We offer 3 versions of our pétanque ball magnet:
- Without storage box
- With bamboo storage box
- With printed storage box: tell us the message to be printed or send us your files to be printed when you order.
Beware of stainless steel balls
Stainless steel is not a ferromagnetic material: it is impossible to magnetise a stainless steel pétanque ball with a magnet.
The same applies to bronze boules. Be sure to check the composition of your pétanque boules before investing in a ball magnet.
