Magnets solutionscontact@magnetiques.fr
CONDITIONS OF USE :
AAIS is in no way responsible for any damage caused by the handling or use of the magnets. At the time of purchase, you confirm that you have read and understood these warnings. If you give the magnets to a third party or to a child, please accompany them with a copy of this information or clearly warn them of the potential dangers presented by these magnets.
RISK OF BREAKAGE AND SPLINTERING :
Magnets can break during uncontrolled or repeated collisions between two magnets. For example, when a disc collides with a powerful sphere, there is a good chance that the disc will break. It is also possible, in such collisions, for splinters to be projected. When handling large magnets, it is advisable to wear protective gloves and goggles. In all cases, magnets should be handled with care and any uncontrolled impact between two magnets should be avoided.
DANGER FOR CHILDREN :
There is a risk that a child could insert a magnet into an electrical socket. Therefore, do not leave children playing with magnets unsupervised. Keep large magnets out of the reach of children, as well as sharp objects and dangerous products. Because of the risk of ingestion, NdFeB magnets are absolutely not intended to be used as toys by children under the age of 9. If several small magnets are swallowed, they may become lodged in the intestine and cause serious injury.
RISK OF CONTUSION :
Large magnets have phenomenal strength when they come close together. When handling large magnets, always wear gloves and handle them with great care. Get used to the smaller models before handling the larger ones. Never test large magnets on any part of your body or that of another person, such as earlobes, noses, lips, etc.
DANGER TO EQUIPMENT :
NdFeB magnets are much more powerful than conventional ferrite magnets. Keep a safe distance between the magnet and any object sensitive to magnetic fields. This includes: smartphones, televisions, monitors, credit cards, computers, bank cards, floppy disks and other data media, audio and video cassettes, mechanical watches, hearing aids and loudspeakers.
Please note that pacemakers can be damaged by strong magnetic fields.
WEAR AND SHINE OF THE COATING :
The vast majority of our magnets are plated with a thin layer of nickel, chrome or nickel. This layer protects the magnet against corrosion. This coating can be damaged during normal use of magnets. For example, repeated impacts between two spheres can damage (wear or chip) the coating at the points of impact. The magnet will then remain operational, but will be more susceptible to corrosion.
DRILLING, CUTTING, GLUING, IGNITION :
The best way to fix an NdFeB magnet is to wedge or glue it in place. Under no circumstances should you try to cut, saw or drill it. Firstly, you will break the magnet, and secondly, the residues are highly flammable. Our magnets should only be modified using a special cutting tool with a water-cooled diamond head. Keep all NdFeB magnets away from flames and high temperatures.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
GENERAL CLAUSE:
Placing an order implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions, unless previously waived in writing.

Our prices do not include VAT and are subject to any changes in economic, tax or customs conditions.
They may be revised at any time in line with changes in the cost of their constituent parts in accordance with the legislation in force on the day of invoicing.
DELIVERY :
Agreed delivery times are given for information only and are not binding.
Under no circumstances may a delay in delivery give rise to the cancellation of an order, a reduction in price or damages.
We reserve the right to make partial deliveries with the corresponding invoicing; in this case, the buyer may not, under any circumstances, use the fact that he is awaiting the balance of his order to defer the corresponding payment.
IMPORTANT: We take every possible precaution in terms of packaging to ensure that your order is delivered to you in good condition.
However, in accordance with Article L133 of the French Commercial Code, as soon as the goods leave our premises, the carrier has a performance obligation and is solely responsible for the final condition of the goods.
It is therefore imperative that you check the goods as soon as they arrive, by unpacking them, and, if necessary, make reasoned reservations on the carrier's delivery note. The carrier is legally obliged to wait until the goods have been unpacked if you ask him to do so.
Please note: the words ‘subject to unpacking’ have no value; your reservations must be justified and explicit (damaged sheet, shock, etc.).
Once these reservations have been made, you have 3 days to confirm them with the carrier (and only with him) by registered letter.
These conditions are imperative in order to obtain reimbursement for a damaged item from the carrier's insurance.
We cannot, under any circumstances, be held responsible for any fault on the part of the carrier, nor can we check a delivery for you.

RESERVATION OF OWNERSHIP :
Ownership of the goods sold will be transferred to the buyer once full payment has been made. AAIS is no longer responsible for the product once it has been dispatched. The customer must take all necessary steps to ensure that the product sold arrives in good condition. In particular, it must insure the product at its own expense in the event of partial or total loss.
The seller reserves ownership of the goods sold until full payment of the price in principal and accessories. In the event of non-payment by the buyer of all or part of the price on the agreed due date, the seller may claim ownership of the goods at the buyer's expense and risk. The buyer undertakes to inform the seller immediately of any seizure or intervention by a third party that may affect the goods, and to take all measures to ensure that this reservation of ownership is respected. However, the risks associated with the loss or deterioration of the goods are transferred to the buyer as soon as they are physically handed over.
The buyer is prohibited from reselling or modifying the goods sold until the price has been paid in full.
PAYMENT :
Payment of invoices is due on the date indicated thereon and must be made in accordance with the terms agreed at the time of the order. In the absence of specific stipulations, payment must be made within a maximum of 30 days from the date of issue of the invoice.
In the event of late payment, late payment penalties will automatically be applied, without the need for a reminder. These penalties are calculated at an annual rate of three times the current legal interest rate. In addition, a fixed indemnity for collection costs of 40 euros will be payable by the late buyer, in accordance with article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code. If the recovery costs incurred exceed this amount, additional compensation may be requested on justification.
The seller reserves the right to suspend or cancel any order in progress, without prejudice to any other action, in the event of non-compliance with the terms of payment.
If, at the time of a previous order, the purchaser has shirked one of his obligations (default or late payment, for example), he may be refused the sale, unless the purchaser provides satisfactory guarantees or cash payment. No discount for cash or early payment will then be granted.
